This ocean-view duplex consists of a 5,000 square foot main home and a 1,000 square foot two-bedroom apartment combined on a unique, flag-shaped lot in a dense, semi-urban neighborhood. The primary residence combines three levels of living space organized both to capture the ocean views and to participate in the vibrant neighborhood life on the adjacent walk street. Fireplaces on all three levels combine in a large central chimney that anchors the home and provides a pivot point visually and literally for the decks and roofs of the new building.
